I am writing to you from my local library. Decided a change of air might be good for coding. (It was! I needed a different environment, I've been too cooped up in my room recently.)
Had the bright idea earlier to make a new page where I could collect some quotes I like in a more centralised manner. It's something I can show off, I guess. What I choose to save says something about me, doesn't it? Speaking of that... I might add an About Me section to the homepage, but I still have the big problem of not knowing how to write about myself, so who knows. That might come at some point. For now, I'm not entirely satisfied with the quotes page's CSS, but it's good enough until I get more skilled or more inspired...
Speaking of inspiration, when I feel like coding but don't know what to work on, I like to watch some videos where people either talk about or showcase the independent web. I don't usually learn much, but it's fun to watch someone explore websites, and sometimes you get good ideas from that. (Like, I didn't see anyone make a quotes page, but it rocked my brain enough for it to come up with that.) The video I was watching earlier was by a creator called Luvstarkei, whom I've never watched before, but I liked their vibe a lot :)
I also collected a few buttons from some of the sites they showed, so that's going towards the future media page. I hate dealing with images in CSS so I don't have the courage to make that yet but. Soon hopefully. At least for now I'm happy that I'm slowly expanding this site with a bit more content.

Gifcities is my new best friend and CSS remains my worst enemy.

Added a new page. This one! I don't think this page will be specifically a changelog, or specifically anything. Just a place for me to talk about my plans for the website, to keep people updated (not that anyone is reading this...) so. Basically a blog. But not as active as one. A journal? Idk.
I was musing about what to add to this site. I have a page in progress, where I'm putting together a guide for pirating music. I was pretty excited about it but I kinda got stuck on a section and lost steam, so that's on the backburner for now. What I really want to focus on, is, yes, adding content, but also making the site look a bit better. I'm leaning into the whole early web, barebones kind of aesthetic (that is to say, absolutely bare minimum html and css, held together by sticks and some tape.) but I'm really not pleased with what I have right now. But I also have no ideas on what I want it to look like!!! It's a whole thing.
Plans for the future include, updating the media recs page, maybe making a page where I showcase some projects and stuff I've done around the web, that music piracy guide that's coming out eventually, and a page for blinkies / random media spam. ALSO I would love to make the homepage a bit better lol. I do have some ideas for that. Maybe write like a blurb or something, but I'm really bad at writing about myself, and this site isn't really about anything, so idk.
I'm slowly moving some stuff from my old Spacehey page. I don't feel like doing it now, which is why I'm writing this page instead, but I did move one thing tonight. That little image at the bottom right of the screen. It's from a game called Hypnospace Outlaw, and it's sticky, so it follows you as you scroll down, only none of my pages are long enough to test it out yet, but, you know. Eventually!
